Four rings, then a real conversation about the right building
Set up per company and per property: hours, policies, access notes, on-call phones.
How it works
Set up per business: your number, your greeting, your questions, your urgent rules.
Your line stays yours
Calls ring your desks and apps exactly as they do today. Unanswered after four rings, or outside the hours you set, they forward to Workup Agent's number. If you prefer, we provision a number that Workup Agent answers first and you give that one out for after hours. Nothing changes for callers or for your team when they do pick up.
It answers and listens
A natural voice, your greeting, your business name, the caller's language kept. It asks who is calling and what it is about, and it answers questions from your own knowledge base: hours, locations, directions, what to bring, what happens next. Not from the open internet, and never advice it is not allowed to give.
It logs the call as it goes
The record is written in the first seconds of the call and updated as facts arrive, so a caller who hangs up early is still on file with a number to call back.
It takes the complete message
The reason for the call, the details you require, the best number and time for a callback, read back to confirm. If someone asks for a person, it explains the team is on other calls, takes the full message and promises the callback.
Urgent goes to a person
Matters you define as urgent are transferred live to the on-call phone you choose. Everything else is a promised callback with an alert behind it.
Your team hears within seconds
An email with the caller, the reason, the questions asked and the transcript. Where your CRM, scheduling or intake system is connected, the request lands there too.
The day closes with a log
A daily call log lists every call, who needs a person and why, so nothing waits for someone to remember.
Answering service or Workup Agent
The same 11pm maintenance call, two ways.
| Property management answering service | Workup Agent | |
|---|---|---|
| Answers after hours | Yes, an operator from a script | Yes, every call, every day |
| Knows your properties | What is on the script | Per-property hours, policies, access notes and on-call phones, from your own information |
| Maintenance call | Name, number, a short message | Unit, problem, whether anyone is in danger, access, best number, read back; urgent repairs transferred live |
| Showing request | A message to call back | Which unit, when, how to reach them, answered from your listings |
| What you receive | A message | An alert within seconds with the transcript, then a daily log by property |
| Cost model | Per minute or per call, sold in blocks | One flat monthly plan |
It answers our own phone
Call it, text it, and judge for yourself. The same setup, with your company name and your on-call rules, is what a property manager gets.
- Micronetbd runs Workup Agent on its own main line: call (609) 435-1960, let it ring past four rings, and the agent takes your message while our team gets the alert
- Per-property hours, after-hours rules and on-call phones, so a caller about one building never hears another building's instructions
- Where connected, the request lands in your property management system or CRM
- Answers the phone and the website with the same information and the same rules
- Every call logged with a transcript, written as the call runs
- Alert within seconds, daily call log every evening
